Bill is the chief consultant and founder of Sterile and Liquids Consulting, LLC (SLC). SLC provides expert consultation services to the pharmaceutical industry and to its partners to facilitate the successful development of new sterile and liquid pharmaceutical products. SLC provides clients with assistance in all aspects of: |

- Project and product assessment; including due diligence reviews of new sterile product and liquid drug candidates, formulations, and technology.
- Sterile and liquid product formulation design and testing - including development study design, and the evaluation and troubleshooting of study results.
- Assessment and identification of sterile and liquid product packages and necessary support study requirements.
- Investigation and recommendation of manufacturing facilities to meet product requirements to enable clinical supply production, scale up, and technology transfer.
- Review of and recommendations regarding product-processing requirements; including process development study design and evaluation.
Bill recently retired from Merck & Co., where he was a Director of Sterile and Liquids Commercialization. While at Merck, he headed up the late stage development, clinical manufacture, and commercialization of new liquid and injectable products; including pharmaceutical, biological and vaccine products. Bill is a registered Pharmacist, with a BS in Pharmacy from North Dakota State University; and he holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics) from the University of Iowa.
