Howard Harpel, Ph.D.

Drug Product Development and Medical Writing

Howard Harpel, Ph.D., is President of Ward Pell Associates, Inc., he has over 20 years of experience at GlaxoSmithKline and Johnson & Johnson where he held various positions in clinical product development and regulatory affairs.

In 1989, he founded an independent consultancy, Ward Pell Associates, Inc., that offers advisory and medical writing services

to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. He has worked extensively with gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, and dermatological products.

Howard also practices as a consultant pharmacist at long term care facilities and received accreditation as a Certified Geriatric Pharmacist in July 2002. He serves on the editorial review board of The Consultant Pharmacist.
